Join us in the spring fpr the play that predicted the shock jock phenomenon, Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio. Barry Champlain is a popular, but loudmouthed and opinionated DJ on an all talk radio station whose show is about to go national. His producer cautions him to take it easy on the air the night before his show is picked up in new markets all over the country, so he doesn't do anything to upset his new sponsors and blow his new deal...but the one thing you don't do to Barry is try to hold him back...so Barry pushes his usual outrageous behavior to the limit; but for every action there is a reaction, and not always the one you expect...Bogosian's work paints a portrait of America that is simultaneously dramatic, funny and disturbing, and makes us look at the parts of ourselves we don't always want to face, and should prove an affecting and entertaining closer to another season of artistic adventure for Spotlight Theater.
