The Cast of Virginia Woolf
Rick Baiker (George) is an invaluable part of our cast, and always a pleasure to work with. Rick has enjoyed being involved in a number of community productions; most notably GMACT's production of To Kill a Mockingbird as Atticus Finch, Dream Catcher Theatre's Deathtrap as Sydney Buhl, Spotlight Theater's The Graduate as Mr.. Robinson, The Beverly Theatre Guild's Frankenstein as Lionel Mueller, The Palos Village Players immensely popular production of The Perfect Wedding (hotel manager) and their production of Out of Order among other PVP shows, and Curtain Call Theatre's Prelude to a Kiss.

Jane Cox (Honey/Director) is a multi-talented, important, and integral part of our theater; as a Spotlight board member (secretary) she participates in some manner or another in all the shows we perform. Jane's varied experience includes co-directing GMACT's The Rocky Horror Show, while simultaneously playing the dual role of Magenta/Usherette in that same show, assistant directing Dream Catcher Theatre's Deathtrap, playing a number of roles for GMACT including Sandy in Grease!, Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Dr. June Heidelberg in Murder is Bad, But Monday Can Kill You!, and Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing, and taking on the roles of Ophelia in Dream Catcher's Hamlet Cha-Cha-Cha!, Elaine Robinson in Spotlight's The Graduate, Ethel Toffelmeier in Acorn Community Theatre's The Music Man, and Poison Ivy in The Village Player's original play Super Zeroes. Jane has also done some film work, appearing as an extra in the motion pictures The Lake House and The Break Up.
Andrea Fleming (Martha/Assistant Director) has been involved in acting and directing for a number of years. She has appeared in the Orland Park Theatre Troupe's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Spotlight's The Graduate (as Mrs. Braddock), GMACT's Grease! (as Marty), Little Shop of Horrors, The Rocky Horror Show (in the dual role of Eddie/Dr. Scott), and Annie to name just a few. Her directorial credits include GMACT's To Kill a Mockingbird and Twelfth Night, among others. Andrea also plays the role of fundraiser on the board for Spotlight Theater.
Jeff Gamlin (Nick) is another Spotlight mainstay as vice-president of the theater, and hence plays a role in all our productions, whether onstage or off. Jeff has kept himself busy over the last three years by taking part in a variety of projects, in various roles, including directing Spotlight's The Graduate, co-directing GMACT's The Rocky Horror Show (while playing Riff-Raff in that same production), and Dream Catcher Theatre's Hamlet Cha-Cha-Cha! (playing hamlet in the show as well), playing Danny in GMACT's Grease!, a mental patient with five personalities in their Murder is Bad, But Monday Can Kill You!, Robin Goodfellow (Puck) in the group's A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Bob Ewell in their To Kill a Mockingbird, "Prof." Harold Hill in Acorn Community Theatre's The Music Man, Clifford Anderson in Dream Catcher's Deathtrap Neil Zirconium/Chuck Barris in St. James Playhouse's School Daze, and bubble boy in their 2006 show Office Frenzy, among others. This past year, he also appeared in a few films including The Lake House, Stranger Than Fiction, and most notably as "the innocent inmate" in Let's Go to Prison. This summer, Jeff will be directing his Shakespeare adaptation Ronnie and Julie: Romeo and Juliet in the Summer of Love for Spotlight.
Kevin Folliard (Assistant Director) makes a welcome return to Spotlight Theater with this show. Kevin played the title role in Spotlight 's debut production of The Graduate and has also appeared in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the University of Illinois as well as Dream Catcher Theatre's Hamlet Cha-Cha-Cha! as Polonius. In addition to this show, he is working on the upcoming independent film Press Start for Dark Maze Studios (www.pressstartmovie.com).
